Kids can golf for FREE at Vancouver Park Board's Championship courses during the month of July, the Golfathon for ALS is taking place at several golf courses including Chilliwack GC - and their Men's Open is now open for registration.
Also, Belmont GC is nearing completion of their renovations, and the site of this year's B.C. Amateur, Ledgeview GC (also home to PGA TOUR stars Nick Taylor and Adam Hadwin) is running their junior golf camps in July and August, so register your young golfers now...
Take A Kid To The Course - Kids Golf FREE
The Vancouver Park Board GC's are taking part in the Take A Kid To The Course program from July 2- 31st this year where a youth up to 18 years old plays free when accompanied by a paying adult at Fraserview GC, McCleery GC and Langara GC.
Take A Kid To The Course is a Canada-wide initiative encouraged by the National Golf Course Owners Association Canada to bring juniors and families to golf courses across the country. The program is in its 22nd year. As theVancouver Park Board Championship courses are very busy, they encourage families to book a tee time in advance to take advantage of the program.
The $5 booking fee incurred for each Junior will be refunded at the golf shops on the day of play. One FREE junior per each paid adult green fee. Please provide names of all players at time of booking.

Belmont GC Course Improvement Update
Course Improvement Update: Bunker and pumphouse renovations. New Rain Bird panel and irrigation upgrades. Restoration of the pipeline-affected areas was scheduled to begin on June 1. Belmont anticipates being able to reopen in late 2024 or early 2025.

During the month of June, PGA of BC golf professionals will golf from sunrise to sunset, in support of people living with ALS in BC. ALS does not stop and neither can we. The need for your support is more vital and urgent than ever. We hope you will help if you are able.
At Chilliwack GC - On June 24th, 2024: Ryan Tofani, Kaleb Fisher, Dylan Nickel, Connor O'Dell and Kathy Stecyk will be golfing from sunup to sundown in support of ALS! As a participating golf course in the PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS, they will be collecting donations to support the event!

Ledgeview GC Junior Golf Camps Now Open
Junior Summer Camps are now open for registration at Ledgeview GC hosted by PGA of Canada Professional, Brady Stead.
The camps have four different age categories:
Age Groups - Fawns (Ages 5-7), Caribous (Ages 8-10), Elks (Ages 11-14) & Advanced (Ages 10+)
Summer Junior Camp Registration
Registration for all Summer Junior Camps opened on June 7th. There are two (2) camps in July and three (3) in August.

Chilliwack Men's Open
The 2024 Chilliwack Men's Open is now open for registration and they would love for you to join them at this year's event.
Dates: July 5th, 6th & 7th
They are excited to be bringing back player and spectator favourites; such as the Party at the Pavilion, 15th Hole Beer Garden, and the Travis Mathew Experience.
They will also be introducing a Par 3 shootout on the Friday Night (July 5th), in which participants will get a chance to tee it up in a KP competition on one of Chilliwack GC's signature holes, Hole 4!
